COUNT-ME-IN PARTY DONATIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How, exactly, does Sunnyside make money on these parties or events?
A: Great question. For a set price, families "bid" (sign up for) various parties/ events that are offered. For example, someone might offer an ice cream party at their house for 10 kids. Each slot costs $10. Therefore, Sunnyside makes $100 on the event.
Q: So there is no cost to Sunnyside?
A: Exactly. The hosts assume all costs. If you are hosting a happy hour at a bar for 15 people, you name the bar, and you pick up the tab. If you're hosting a themed kids' party, you provide the space, the necessary materials, and the snacks.
Q: Who decides the cost per person for the event?
A : The Count Me In committee wil be making the final "bid sheets", but we would love input from the hosts regarding what they think is a fair per person price.
Q: What is the cap on the number of people allowed (or invited to) each event?
A: That is completely up to the hosts. If you want to host a dinner party for 3 other couples, then there will be 3 slots available.
Q: This sounds really cool, but I'm a bit nervous to host an event on my own. Can I team up with someone?
A: Absolutely!
