School Site Council
Each SFUSD school has an elected School Site Council (SSC) to represent parents, students, community members, and school staff in the school governance process. Community elections take place in fall, so interested parents, teachers, or staff should try to attend one or more meetings prior to running.
The SSC has a number of important responsibilities, including:
The Sunnyside SSC meets regularly to discuss a range of issues and provide ongoing input to the administration. Meetings are open to the public.
Meetings during the 2015-16 school year will take place at
5:30 p.m. in the Media Room / Library on the second floor of the new building on the following days:
2015: 9/21, 10/19, 11/9, 12/14
2016: 1/11, 2/22, 3/14, 4/11, 5/9
