Contributing
There are many ways for families to contribute to Sunnyside Elementary school. Some families have extra time to volunteer, some families have limited time but can contribute by helping to raise money for programs for the children. In whatever way you can contribute, be assured it is valued and important.
Volunteering is fun and a great way to enrich your child’s educational experience and get to know your childs’ teachers and other families. Come to a PTA meeting or just sign-up to help to make things happen at the school. And of course, you can always just ask your child’s teacher how you can help out.
Community members who do not have children in the school are also invited to volunteer, but should receive training through SF School volunteers first. Contact them at San Francisco School Volunteers.
