After-school Extend Care Programs
Sunnyside offers two after-school programs to provide extended care onsite immediately after school.
ExCEL
The ExCEL program is five days per week and is free for eligible students.
YMCA
The YMCA program is a paid program that offers extended care before and after school. Families can enroll for two, three or five days per week. Hours are as follows:
- Mornings 7:30 – 8:40 am
- Afternoons 2:40 – 6:00 pm
The YMCA is currently taking applications for the 2011-2012 school year. Applications can be completed at the Y bungalow either before or after school. It is anticipated that there will be a waiting list. Interested families are encouraged to apply ASAP so that demand for the program can best be met by Sunnyside and the YMCA.
