Calling all ghosts and goblins! Sunnyside’s OctoberFest is Friday, October 29, during the school day. Children should bring their costume to school. (No weapons of any kind are allowed, including guns, swords, axes, light sabers etc.) There will be a costume parade, haunted house, and more. Parents are welcome to come to assist and join the festivities. Email [email protected] if you can help out with setup, cleanup or during the event.
Run to the Sunnyside! is this Sunday, October 24. Remember to get those pledges and touch base with your class coordinator regarding the picnic potluck lunch.

For the first time, Spanish translation will be available at the meeting. Please note the start time has been moved up to 5:30 to accommodate Mr. Kumar’s schedule. Childcare and pizza will be provided.
International Walk to School Day is October 6, 2010! Meet our walking school buses at 1) Sunnyside Playground (Foerster and Mangels), 2) Sunnyside Conservatory (Monterey btwn. Baden and Congo) or 3) Flood Ave. at Congo at 8:10AM for the walk to school. Kids who join our buses will be eligible to receive prizes, and we’ll have snacks and drinks before school!
