It’s not glamorous work, but easy and very necessary since we only have a librarian two days a week.

Can anyone help shelve books, straighten up, etc.? Meet with Ms. Yarrow on Thursday or Friday during lunchtime, when the library is not full of students, then you can come in whenever it is convenient for you. Grandparents, friends and relatives can all help. See Ms. Yarrow in the library on Thursdays and Fridays for more information.

Read-a-thon raises $2500 for Arts Programs

Our first read-a-thon raised $2500 for Arts Programs at Sunnyside! Class winners will be announced during the School Spirit Day assembly on Friday, February 29th. First place class wins $10 Book Fair gift certificates for each student. All participants will receive a book of their choice for participation. Thank you to all who read and supported this new event!

All proceeds will pay for the terrific LEAP visual and theatre arts programs.
