This month our coffee with the principal will be at 9:00 am in our library on Monday, November 14th. Please join Mr. Simard and others for this great opportunity to ask questions and hear what's going on at our school!

These will be scheduled monthly, on the first Monday when the library has space availability.

Celebrate Prop A passing and meet Assistant Superintendent Veronica Chavez to talk about facility improvements.

We will also be review the final Audit from 2010-2011 and discussing Volunteer opportunities. Now is the time to share your ideas, hopes and visions for what "can be" available to your kids attending Sunnyside Elementary. Let's work together and set some short term and long terms goals - we can make it work!
 
 
School is closed in observation of Veterans' Day.
 
 
The Sunnyside Art Committee set up the Day of the Dead art exhibition on the stage in the cafeteria. It will be on display until lunch on Friday.  The display includes sugar skulls, papel picado (cut tissue paper banners), flowers, skull drawings, skeleton puppets and a few other things. Thanks to all who helped and contributed artwork!
 
 
We exceeded our goal and raised $15, 984!
